Using MRTG with RRDtool and Routers2
This 330-page book contains not only a full and detailed description of all the available commands and directives for MRTG and Routers2, but also instructions for installing and configuring the software, and how to make the most of it once you've installed it.
Tobi Oetiker has read it, and kindly written the introduction.
There are sections describing the various Advanced features, performance tuning, problem solving, using Templates in cfgmaker and creating and using plug-ins for both MRTG and Routers2.
This is the Preview Edition, published via Lulu.com and only available online. I am negotiating with other publishers at the moment to try and get it published in major bookstores and Amazon.com.
There is also available a Companion CD, containing all the latest versions of the software - the ISO image of this is a FREE download. In addition, a short Reference Guide is also in the pipeline, containing just the configuration reference sections of the book, for people who just want a desk reference.
