BTW, one way to increase the number of interfaces is to also graph items like port errors along with the interfaces, which is what I'm doing on this switch.

Can you please send me (via email) a copy of the appropriate .cfg file, and also let me know which version of routers2 you are using.

I have a switch here with >100 interfaces and the incoming/outgoing graphs generate without errors, but nothing with 400 interfaces. It is possible that it is reaching some internal limit of rrdtool or just a timeout for the CGI?

If it is this big, I'd suggest either not using Incoming/Outgoing, or splitting the interfaces into smaller groups. You could have routers.cgi*InOut[_]:no and then define your own subset Incoming/Outgoing graphs.
