I'm graphing a whole bunch of interfaces (PVCs) but I need to graph the total (sum) and average usage for these. I would like to see the in and out counters info in the legend as well.

I think I can create a graph for this that will pull the data from all my RRDs but I'm missing how to do this.

Before I go through and start changing CFG files I wanted to run it by here first. Do I just need to add the following to each interface.

routers.cgi*Graph[3mbit_rt-bras.aur_19_2_129]: 3Mbit_Total
routers.cgi*Graph[3mbit_rt-bras.aur_19_2_176]: 3Mbit_Total
routers.cgi*Graph[3mbit_rt-bras.aur_21_3_140]: 3Mbit_Total

then at the end add this
routers.cgi*Title[3Mbit_Total]: Total Usage

OK, I've been playing and I'm pretty close.

However, I would only like to have the total and average lines. I don't care to see all the individual lines. I've added "noo noi" to the routers.cgi*Graph lines above but that removes all the lines on the graph including the total & average line and the legend is empty too.

If it matters, I'm using routers2.cgi v2.16

OK, basically, you have it correct now. The 'nodetails' will only suppress the legend for the various lines. The 'nolegend' option is like 'nodetails' but will also suppress any Total and Average legends. noo and noi will cause out or in data to be completely ignored (so you can get an 'incoming only' graph, for example). The keyworks 'total' and 'average' will add a total and average line to the graph, respectively. There is currently no way to suppress the individual lines on the graph. I am now testing a 'nolines' option to do this (2.17b2)

You can set a GraphStyle of 'stack' for the userdefined graph to use stacked bars instead of individual lines.

The Title line is optional, but if not used, you will get a default title (something like 'userdefined graph 1').
