We use Smartfilter for URL filtering. i am able to pull up html pages using smartreporter that tells me how many page hits by category per day. is there anyway to incorporate that into Routers2 or is there a plugin or some sort that you have heard of? it does return a number so there has got to be a way to do it (i think).

routers2 will graph anything that MRTG can collect stats for.

So, you can probably write a small plugin for MRTG that grabs a page and parses out the count from the page. I have a script like this that will work for pulling the apache thread count from the statuspages.

Look on mrtg.org to see if they have any user-submitted check scripts to do this already.
