Hi Steve! Update: It works now while the system load is a bit lower. The reason it is that slow seems it calls routers2.cgi from the shell: apache 16237 0.1 0.0 2172 996 ? S 10:27 0:00 | \_ sh -c /usr/local/httpd/cgi-bin/routers2.cgi -U [..] The offered output file is called pdfreport.cgi, but is the wanted .pdf which looks fine. Best regards Michael |

Yes, it calls routers2 directly in order to generate the images. So, it will necessarily take a certain amount of time... if you use speedycgi for routers2 then this will help a lot, but if you're using mod_perl then you won't get any benefit. It has to call via the shell in order to be able to bypass some security checks that might be used if done via the web server (the corollary of this is left as an exercise for the reader |
