A new versionof the ifstatus plugin for routers2 is now available on request, and will be included with routers2 v2.17.
Unlike the previous v0.1, this one actually works, take into account the new parameters passed by routers2, and is Cisco-aware.
This reports on the current port status (admin, operational, speed, duplex, etc) and can be linked to a Target[] via the routers.cgi*Extension[] directive.
