I've already let a copy of this out, so I'd better let you guys know what's going on.
The beta version of trend.cgi v1.0 is now available on request to people who would like to try it out. The main difference is that it now no longer requires the external RRDTool executable to be called, because everything is done internally in perl. This is more efficient, no longer requires the XML stage, and is immune to the bug in Windows rrdtool that can cause weird spikes (pre 1.0.40?). Also a bit more helpful reporting of errors, and checks for incorrect calling (that was in 0.7, released with routers 2.15beta1, though).
