Can you give me a copy of the MRTG .cfg file corresponding to the PDF report that is failing? It seems that the problem is not with HTMLDOC, but earlier on since it is failing to create the web page that is subsequently converted to PDF. Also, please let me know which version of Routers2 and which version of RRDTool you are using -- there were som incompatibilities between later versions of htmldoc and earlier versions of routers2. Upgrading routers2 to the latest verison would probably be a good idea if you are on an older version. |

Hi Steve Thank you for helping I have had to remove some things from the cfg file see below. WorkDir: /var/www/html/mrtg/ LogFormat: rrdtool MaxBytes[_]: 12500000 Options[_]: growright, bits YLegend[_]: Bits per Second Legend1[_]: Incoming Traffic Legend2[_]: Outgoing Traffic Legend3[_]: Maximal 5 Minute Incoming Legend4[_]: Maximal 5 Minute Outgoing LegendI[_]: In: LegendO[_]: Out: Directory[_]: TEST Target[gw.gigoutside]: /IP Address Removed:test@IP Address Removed:::::2 Title[gw.gigoutside]: Gig0/0 PageTop[gw.gigoutside]: <H1>Gig0/0</H1> routers.cgi*InMenu[gw.gigoutside]: No routers.cgi*Summary[gw.gigoutside]: Outside routers.cgi*Extension[gw.gigoutside]: "Trending Analysis" /cgi-bin/trend.cgi graph-sm.gif routers.cgi*Extension[gw.gigoutside]: "PDF Report Monthly,Yearly" /cgi-bin/pdfreport.cgi?wmy=my pdf-sm.gif routers2.cgi version v2.20 RRDtool version 1.4.3 htmldoc version 1.8.23 Running the below cmd works and the manually running the html file thought htmldoc makes a pdf. /var/www/cgi-bin/routers2.cgi -D 'mds-gw-corsham-pdf-test.cfg' -T 'gw-corsham.gigoutside' -t dwmy -s l2p > /var/www/html/test.html |

I'm using htmldoc 1.8.27, rrdtool 1.4.trunk, Routers2 v2.22beta and things seem to be OK. Since you're using Routers2 v2.20, try upgrading to 2.21 or 2.22beta since there was a fix for pdfreport support in 2.21 which corrected an issue with htmldolc 1.8.x. v2.20 also corrected some errors in pdfreport.cgi so make sure you have the latest version of pdfreport.cgi (shipped with the routers2 package) The error message is caused by routers2 not producing any html files for htmldoc to process. Are you using authentication/autorisation in your routers2.conf at all? Steve |
