Dont worry guys.. i've fixed it..
I didnt have the PathAdd: /usr/local/bin
all working fine now...
(BTW: that PathAdd isnt in your sample.conf for that Steve)..

Hi guys.. Im confused.. Ive followed the config for the mrtg-ping-probe as per steve's demo page, and if i run '/usr/local/bin/mrtg /usr/local/etc/mrtg/pingtimes.cfg' from a shell prompt as root it works perfectly.. but as soon as i add that command to crontabs as root it never works ?? in the pingtimes.cfg i've even explicitly defined : Target[ping-test]: `/usr/local/etc/mrtg/bin/mrtg-ping-probe -o -n 192.168.0.4` (which does exist) why would this not run under cron ?
