I always get the following errors when I try to look at a graph. Error reading RRD database c:\mrtg/wwwroot\100.0.0.29_1.rrd opening 'c:\mrtg/wwwroot\100.0.0.29_1.rrd': No such file or directory Check that MRTG has run successfully on this device, and has created the RRD file. can someone help me out ? |

This means what it says - it cannot open the .rrd database, and is asking you to check that the file has been created. If this file exists, then check the web server has permission to read it. If this file does not exist, then it indicates that your MRTG installation has not yet run correctly on the .cfg file and so has not initialised the .rrd database file. In this case, check the .cfg file for errors, and check the log file for your MRTG, or run MRTG from the command line in interactive mode, so you can see what errors are being generated and why the .rrd is not getting created. |

Hello! I have the same problem when I add Ubiquiti devices. NanoStation 5 for example: Error reading RRD database c:\mrtg\wwwroot\172.30.0.20_7.rrd opening 'c:\mrtg\wwwroot\172.30.0.20_7.rrd': No such file or directory Check that MRTG has run successfully on this device, and has created the RRD file. Adding Mikrotik devices all work perfectly! Any suggestions? Greetings! |

This would indicate that the RRD file does not (yet) exist. This would be because either: 1) There is a syntax error in the CFG file and MRTG refuses to process it, or 2) MRTG is not able to contact the remote device (incorrect SNMP comunity, firewall, ACL, device down, etc), or 3) MRTG is not being run on the CFG file yet (maybe you havent scheduled it or added it to your master cfg file if you have one), or 4) You have a permissions problem on the RRD directory and either MRTG cannot write to it, or the web frontend cannot read it |
