There is something odd about the expansion of the cfg file names - the first time you visit, one menu defaults to something called 'mrtg' and the other to Blue-Coat. Can you make sure that you do not have any files or directories in the MRTG conf path with SPACES in their names? This can confuse several of the filename expansion routines. I suspect that you have a .cfg file, or directory name, with spaces in it which is causing the problem - possible with a name starting 'mrtg'. |

Steve, I checked everything as you said but I have no config file with space int the name, here is a list; Blue-Coat.cfg Cisco_2651XM_Psinet.cfg Cisco_2651XM_Utila.cfg Cisco_3745.cfg uBR7246VXR.cfg These ar under c:\mrtg-2.15.2\conf on my server, the routers2.cgi and routers2.conf are under wwwroot/mrtg where I have the RRD log files. I can send you my Routers2 Conf if you like. Thanks |

Probably send me your routers2.conf and the .cfg files so I can try and duplicate this. The problem only occurs when it is trying to find a default device - if you give any device explicitly then its fine. I suspect some issue with the format of the .cfg or .conf file. Also, make sure you have the optimise setting in the routers2.conf switched off, in case it is because of a confusing .cfg file format. |
