I am having the exact same problem, but it appears to be the rrdtool beta. If I use the 1.2 version, it works fine, but I accidentally let yum update rrdtool (to the beta) and things broke. It appears to be updating the files just fine, but getting lots of NaN's for the value's.

Needed to make changes to routers2 for it to support 1.2.x (originally it only supported 1.0.x) so I think probably the 1.4.x branch will need more changes. However, I cant chase amoving target, so I'm waiting until there is a stable release.

If I get the opportunity (unlikely at the moment) I'll see if there's an obvious fix for making it work with the new branch; until then, though, I can't really spare the time to work on compatibility with beta software - particularly since the problem may well be an issue with the rrdtool beta in any case.

Using beta software always has inherent risks of it not necessarily being stable, or compatible with existing software. I hope you understand...
