| Post subject: | More GD compact summary issues |
Hi Steve, thanks for the great front end! I am having problems with GD not being found in the compact view, although it is installed. I did install it *after* running install.pl, but have gone back and tried running install.pl again. During the script it still claims that GD is not installed. D:\rrdtool\routers2-v2.14>ppm query gd Querying target 1 (ActivePerl 5.8.3.809) 1. GD [2.18] Interface to Gd Graphics Library routers2.conf: png=0 compact=yes Second question: just as in default MRTG, my interface graphs show different metrics on the y-axis despite having uscaled=yes set. Thanks, John |

You may need png=1 if your GD library was compiled without GIF support (many are, due to Compu$erve's greedy lawyers). This might solve the problem. Not sure what you mean by different metrics... If you have unscaled=yes, this sets the overall default. However, interfaces have a different default (unscaled = no) and you need to override this -- UnScaled[_]=dwmy In unscaled mode, you will always see the MaxBytes line. In scaled mode, the graph rescales to match the max data line. |

I've tried png=0 and png=1, with no luck. Thanks though |
