I've inherited a working routers2 installation. It is working fine for the routers it was setup with long ago. I also have another machine running mrtg only that graphs many many things just fine. In routers2, I'm having a problem with subinterfaces. I can graph an interface on my Cisco router using something like #Fa0/2 in the config. But if I try to graph a subinterface like Fa0/2.1, I get a blank graph. MRTG alone graphs that subinterface just fine, but not the routers2. I also have a channelized DS3 router, on which I'd like to graph the T1 channels. They are numbered (from cfgmaker) like this - Se4/0/1:0 - again, MRTG alone works fine. But routers2 give me a blank graph. What am I doing wrong? |

Remember that routers2 just displays the data; mrtg is still collecting behind the scenes. You need to give more information. Look at your .cfg file -- in the case that works and the case that doesnt, what is the difference? Can you post them here? How are you creating the cfg files (on the Routers2/RRD box and on the MRTG-native box)? |
