I'm trying to setup routers2 with RRD on a Windows System everything looks ok except that when I run the page http://server/cgi-bin/routers2.pl the page runs for about 5 minutes and the I get this error "The specified CGI application exceeded the allowed time for processing. The server has deleted the process." I know it's prob one little thing I forgot but I'm lost now. Hope someone can help. Thanks |

Do you have more than 400 .cfg files on a slow system, without using Apache mod_perl and caching mode? (unlikely). This would cause slow running. It's hard to say why the script is taking so long. It could be due to the way you have installed perl, or your web server. Can you run any other CGI applications? How about other perl scripts? Have you tried the verify page ( /cgi-bin/routers2.pl?page=verify ) ? Try running the script from the command line. It should produce a page of HTML followed by a comment to the effect that you shouldnt run it from the command line. Maybe you get other error messages? |
