| Post subject: | Adding sections to the Devices frame |
Is there a way to add additional sections to the Devices frame? I have routers2 setup to monitor routers currently, but I would like to add another section below that with a button that I've made labled Servers and have links to the cfg's for the servers below it. I would like to have all of my monitored devices in one interface and not use seperate cgi files if at all possible. Thanks, Mike |

You cannot add different sections, but you can enable grouping. If you do this (in the routers2.conf file) then you will get your Devices menu grouped according to the directory that holds the .cfg files. Then, you can put the servers in one subdirectory, and the networking devices in another (this is how I use it here). Steve |

This has worked out great so far, but I was wondering if routers2 can display multiple subdirectories? I have routers in different regions of the world that I monitor, and would like to group them by region (Asia Pacific, North America, Europe, etc..) underneath a folder called routers since I am also monitoring servers in each region as well and would like to keep all my monitored targets in one interface at one address. |

Sorry -- grouping is currently only one level deep. It's in the wishlist to extend this to multiple levels, but this would require some reworking of the indexing code which might break other things, so it's on hold for the time being. |
