Hi Steve, First of all, thanks for your script. It's really great!!! I just got a question here...there's a button to generate csv file in the routers2.cgi. As I would like to write a cron job to generate the csv files periodically, is there any command that can do the same thing? Thanks. |

The short answer is yes. The long answer is yes, but... you will need to call routers.cgi from the command line, with the appropriate arguments to create the csv (page=csv) and redirect the output, after trimming the headers. If you are using UNIX, far better to use the wget command to fetch the URL of the CSV extract on a regular basis and put it into a file somewhere. I already have a special option for automatically making archives from the command line, maybe I should add one for extracting CSVs? |
