Hi Steve, First of all, thanks for your script. It's really great!!! I just got a question here...there's a button to generate csv file in the routers2.cgi. As I would like to write a cron job to generate the csv files periodically, is there any command that can do the same thing? Thanks.

The short answer is yes. The long answer is yes, but... you will need to call routers.cgi from the command line, with the appropriate arguments to create the csv (page=csv) and redirect the output, after trimming the headers. If you are using UNIX, far better to use the wget command to fetch the URL of the CSV extract on a regular basis and put it into a file somewhere. I already have a special option for automatically making archives from the command line, maybe I should add one for extracting CSVs? |
