I have about 200 total devices that I am polling and when it polls the cpu on the server is at 100%. I have read through several of the areas about this and found that we should use a master.cfg file to include the other files but break it up into a few master files to spread the load. My big problems seems to be that I also have grouping configured and have the actual config files in seperate directories so in the master.cfg files I have something like the following: Include: dir1/router1.cfg Include: dir2/router2.cfg The error is that it says it can not find the file dir1/router1.cfg when it runs in cron. |

Try using an absolute pathname, it is probably running relative to your CWD. Alternatively, used cd to change to your cfg file base directory before calling mrtg. |
