| Post subject: | Graphs Directory Issue |
First off, Sorry if this problem has been posted before somewhere. Searched through the forum but couldnt quite find the same problem. Specifcations; Windows XP MRTG 2.14.4 Routers2-v2.16 RRDTool 1.2.13 ActivePerl 5.8.8 Build 817 GD Installed through Perl ppm IIS 5.1 Installed from XP CD C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\* Access Read\Write\Execute = Everyone MRTG Works; RRDTool Works; Routers2 Works; Together = Not Happy; Everything Works minus the Graphs Directory, and that works except it work put it to the right directory. My problem is that I can not get graphs to be made in the graphs directory. The graphs are made but stored in root (C:\) I have gone through routers.conf and edited the graphpath DIR. and set it to C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\graphs\ On the Configuration Verification page, it says the Directory does not exist. Though, when graphurl is set to http://localhost/cgi-bin/graphs/ (which is the same as C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\graphs\) it pulls the image for the test Icon. This is probly is just a mistake on my part, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

This might be a sideeffect of the windows use of \ (the escape character) as a path separator. When you specify the graph directory, do not use a trailing \. So, graphpath = C:/Inetpub/wwwroot/graphs You can even use the standard / path separator (since Perl supports both). This might fix the problem? Steve |
