Thanks for the response, but the message I saw on nagios was still truncated. BTW, i encountered the .dll problem when installing eventlog agent, is the truncation problem because of the .dll failing?

The DLL message on install is a mistake in my install script; it doesnt affect the operation. It may be I need to check the code again for another place with a hardcoded buffer.

Things are a bit busy at the moment and no time to work on this (it is a 'spare time' project) but it is in the todo list...
