I had no plans to monitor this, since you can already get the same effect by simply using check_ping on the IP of the guest. If you can't ping it from your Nagios host... then the link state is down :)

This is still progressing... I have something that is working fairly well at the moment, but the ESX3 files are rather different in format and detail. I'm awaiting further test data before I can send it out for beta testing.
