Since the "Using MRTG with RRDTool and Routers2" book was written in New Zealand, and it is also where I live, I want to help support this appeal. So:

This week, for every book sold (including eBooks) I will donate NZ$20 to the Christchurch Appeal Fund.

I will make a posting after a week indicating how much has been raised by this. Needless to say I’m not making any profit on the books after the donation, in case you were wondering.

To find out how to order a book, visit: http://www.steveshipway.org/book/

The week ends midday Wednesday, New Zealand time.

oursmartweb, Christchurch is the largest city in the South Island of New Zealand, and the next biggest city after Auckland. It does not have anything to do with a real church.

Anyways, Steve, I am very impressed with you. You are a very generous person and I know that you will be doubly blessed for sharing yourself to others.

Normal book sales for a week would be 2 or 3 (its not a high volume book)

In the end, 5 were sold, so that was $100 donated.

This was back on 8th March (see date on original posting) but while I notified everyone via the mailing list I forgot to make the final announcement in the forum ...

If you'd like more information about the quake, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Chris ... earthquake

If you'd like to help, make a donation to either St Johns Ambulance or the Red Cross. Both organisations helped out immeasuably in the days following the quake and are always in need of new funds to contiue their good work.

This is a very noble act. I hope the book will make a lot of sales so more can be donated to the Christchurch appeal fund.

Hey Steve,

Is the donation drive still on? I just happened to chance upon this thread today and thought I like to help out as well. :)

It ended way earlier this year, but if you want to donate, I don't think it needs to be during an official "give a donation" time. You can donate any time you want. High Quality Replica Watches Replica Watch Swiss Watch Replicas Replica Watches Replica Watch
