This looks OK, except that you need a DOUBLE - for the options -- --warn, --crit and so on. The thresholds you specified (2 and 5) would mean that this is a 'warning' status. The Nagios plugins return status by the exit code. So, immediately after running check_vmware, do 'echo $?' and you should see 0 for OK, 1 for warning, 2 for critical and 3 for unknown. This status is picked up by Nagios to give the plugin status. |

Mmmm .... which tells me is correct. The problem is that the thresholds configured always gave me OK. type: --warn = 15 --crit = 10 .... and it worked! Thank you very much! |
