Hi Steve, Just downloaded the latest and greatest check_esx and tried it out. I've noticed that it does not detect a downed virtual host as the old version did. From v1.4, a ./check_esx.pl -H vmhost gets me this: VHosts: 5/6 up: server1(up), server2(DOWN), server3(up), server4(up), server5(up), server6(up) Whereas, in the V2, I get this: VHosts: 6/6 up: server1(up), server2(up), server3(up), server4(up), server5(up), server6(up) The server2 is defintly turned off, so it should report as such. Cheers for making a great check, really like the stats on the system vs host CPU use. Cheers Alastair Sheppard Lincoln Uni. |
