This host template duplicates the behaviour of cfgstoragemaker. It uses the hrMIB to define Targets for all disk, swap and memory storgae devices (not network storage) and should work for most SNMP agents, including Windows and Linux.

Note that inserting a USB disk or memory stick can cause reenumeration of the devices (particularly under Windows) and can result in the generated configurationfile ceasing to be valid! The only way to get around this is to use a data collection plugin instead of SNMP.

This version does the same thing, but uses the mrtg-storage.pl data collection plugin to collect the data, which avoids the problem of reenumeration. However you need to install the mrtg-storage.pl script into your path for it to work.

The first template has a few line-wrap issues, so look over it carefully...

Thanks for pointing this out, blame microsoft for irritaing auto-line-wrap issues appearing somwhere between transferring from the UNIX host and transferring to the board. Fixed now.
