In the compact summary page,i noticed that the oder of the objects were sorted by average,by maximum or by last. And this order can be different in every time.

Can i make some configuration to let the objected be sorted in an immovable order ?

You can set the default sort options in the routers2.conf , look for the 'bars = ' options (its a bit cryptic, though, so be careful).

This is overridden by the 'bars' option in the URL, if it is set.

However, this is always changeable by the user, who can click on the little icons at the top of the page to add and remove last/avg/max/95th bars and to by incoming or outgoing.

Note there is a bug in 2.15beta1-4 that often breaks the bar sorting routines.

Can i just sort the objects according to the objects' order in the MRTG config file?What i want is an immovable order.

Currently, no. If you have no sort order defined, then it will usually sort alphabetically by description, though. The order in the MRTG file is not preserved as the data is parsed into a hash.

Just as you said, can i arrange the description and make my own order by alphabetization? Where is the "description".
