I have modifed a .cfg file to alter the Target names (interfaces) links on my graphs, but how do I get the new names to appear?

For example, I modified the Descr from simply "Tunnel42" to "'Tu42 LittleCurrent (PACS)" but only Tunnel42 displays as a link on the target names page.

The 'short description' (the one used in the side menu) is taken from several places, in this order of preference (not that you can change this in the routers2.conf)

1) routers.cgi*ShortDesc[targetname]: xxxxx
2) SetEnv[targetname]: MRTG_INT_DESCR="xxxxx"
3) The IP address of the interface, if target is an interface
4) The interface name, if the target is an interface
5) The first word of the Title[targetname]: xxxxx yyy ....

You are apparently using number (2), if I read your cfg sample correctly.

I suspect the 'Descr' you modified was just the text in the comment line before the definition?
