The crypto algorithms all come from a third party library, whichis supposedly compatible... and the send_nsca code is copied from the send_nsca.c originally supplied with the NSCA daemon. It *should* work -- however, I have not been able to perform much testing on it.
If possible, test with algorythm 1 (XOR) and 0 (none). If these do not work, then the problem may be with your NSCA daemon (I know they both work as I've tested extensively using them). If they *do* work, then the problem may be in the encryption library. Is there anyone else out there who has had it working? Unfortunately I will need to get unix encryption libraries to test it here (grumble, grumble, stupid USA export restrictions, grumble)
