This is odd - since the device search uses the same routers2 script. It may be due to the known IIS CGI bug where the source script URL is not passed down to the CGI. Try setting the 'myurl' option in the routers2.conf to hold the URL of the routers2 CGI script.

You can disable device search box by using the option 'showfindbox = no' in the routers2.conf.

Thanks for the response, unfortunately myurl is one of the steps I had to do just to get the basic left menu working through IIS.
