Doing some research around the RRD forums, I also discovered that my config files don't have the "LibPath" command added in. Is this a problem?

Here's another error message I just encountered, I thought if I moved the mrtg file from c:\mrtg-2.15.2\bin to c:\mrtg-2.15.2\CONFIGS that it might alleviate the error message I got earlier, and I got this instead:

C:\mrtg-2.15.2\CONFIGS>perl mrtg --logging=eventlog cms1.cfg

Either way, the modify date on all the RRD files is still May 31st. What do you make of it?

BTW, I can't thank you enough for all your help, I'll definitely be visiting the amazon store if I can get this thing working.

This problem is more MRTG related, but here we go...

wperl probably doesnt follow the path as perl does. So, when you use wperl, dont just say 'mrtg' but give the full path of the mrtg perl file, eg, 'wperl C:\foo\bin\mrtg.pl'

Also, it seems wperl does not have the same version of the EventLog library. This is producing the errors. You'll have to stop using the '--logging=eventlog' option as it appears not to work with your version.

The LibPath is only required if perl cannot find your RRD libraries. It doesnt hurt to add it though. LibPath should specify the full name of the directory containing the RRDs.pm file (not the name of the file itself)

You have two different versions of perl installed, 1.0.40 and 1.2.15. You should remove the old one completely.

I think you have 1.0.40 installed under your site perl path, and 1.2.15 in your rrdtool directory. Remove both and reinstall RRDTool 1.2 and all will be OK.

RRD 1.2 can read 1.0 files, but not vice-versa. Also, if you have both installed, you can get this error (as you saw) where it accidentally loads half of one and half of the other, and they dont match,
