Hi Steve:
Again I´ve a very dummy problem. I´m trying to set auth. model but a got from the Apache only a part of the username. For ex. if I put
"wantilles" as username, the frontpage shows me only "tilles", as username. If I explore into my cookie directory then I check that the username provide into the frontend it´s the same:
auth|tilles|a.b.c.d/cgi-bin/routers2.cgi|1024.....blabla....
Any Idea will be great.....
The auth method works correctly for others apps that i ´ve running for ex. one in PHP.

This is odd.

Are you using Apache under windows or under UNIX?

Are you using web server authentication, or routers2.cgi internal authentication?

The script obtains the username from the REMOTE_USER symbol set by the CGI interface, or from the passed username parameter (if you are using internal authentication). You can see how it is set by looking at the comments in the HTML page (right at the bottom, use 'view source' on the main page to see these).
