Hi,
i have a question concerning routers.cgi*Graph[]. I often use it to get the aggregate bandwidth of two or more interfaces on the same router. That works like a charm.
Now i would like to have a user-defined graph for 2 interfaces on different routers. Both routers have their own mrtg cfg-files.
Is it possible in routers2.cgi and how can i achieve this goal.

Hi,
i solved my problem with creating a "dummy" config file which will never be run by mrtg. In this file i have two targets from different routers, both with the "directory" directive pointing to the right path for the correct rrd file.
With the "routers.cgi*InSummary[sum]: yes" directive, i see the user-defined graph on the summary page.

In routers2.cgi, i read that the target "sum" need to be prefixed by an "_". But in my config, i forgot the underscore and it although works. Is this a typo in the documentation ?

You've done it the recommended way.

Technically, you need the initial _ prefix; however, if you omit it, and there are no 'real' targets by that name, then routers2 will assume you forgot it and add it for you.
