Are you getting any error messages output by MRTG as it runs on the cfg file? Check your error logs...

The error message tells you the problem: You have not specified a 'Workdir:' definition in your .cfg file.

You need to specify a WorkDir as the place for the .rrd files (in RRD mode) or the .log, .html and .png files (in native mode).

eg:

Workdir: /usr/local/rrdfiles

This workdir should correspond with the one defined in the routers2.conf. MRTG Bundle insecurely places this somewhere under the wwwroot, I believe.

Error2
2009-06-18 13:57:47 -- ERROR: Cannot update c:\mrtg/wwwroot\164.100.53.33_164.100.53.41.rrd with '1245358665:1608911777:2004295843' illegal attempt to update using time 1245358665 when last update time is 1245358666 (minimum one second step)

I believe the first error is caused by your lack of the Workdir: directive.

The second error shows your MRTG updates are going backwards in time (by one second). Possibly you have two MRTG instances running simultaneously by mistake, or you have cfg files which use the same target name in two places causing it to attempt to update twice? Alternatively, check your clock is in proper synchronisation as this can cause problems as well.
