I'll hopefully be attaching a PDF file containing example of the problem I am trying to explain here as well as my config .

In the Config I have all interfaces I do not wish to display (I hope) set to 'No' I have another one that works just fine . But this one wants to include ALL the ones marked as 'No' anyway .

Any help or thoughts are welcome . Tia , JimL

Ok , This seems to be caused by the fact that I COMBINE two graphs (ie: just interface statistics[bw] with Interface Errors) and am trying to display a graph that DOES NOT have a *.rrd file associated with a simular file name , and in fact it does not exist as these are Generated graphs of two other graph data .

Is there some way to rebuild these in a way that I do not have to copy and paste the configs out of each separate included file ? As I may not be the one to move a particular device to another port on a switch I'd like to not have to recopy everything .

If I understand you correctly, you're trying to make a UserDefined graph where the components are other userdefined graphs?

This is not currently possible. Ideally, I should probably make this become functionally the same as including the component Targets of the sub-graph as components of the new graph... this would be a bit complex in the parser, though, as components could be subsequently added.

Yes .

Ok, I think I understand the difficulties . For now I'll just manually create the graph I need as a bunch of manually entered .cfg lines .
