routers2 will pass to a plugin the cfg filename, and the MRTG targetname, but not the interface number since it often doesnt have it. However, you can pass a number by adding your own extra parameter to the plugin, if you want.
From your post, it looks like there is a bug in the plugin (the HTTP headers are all mixed up) -- this isn't one of mine (its a contrib), but I'll take a look on Monday, it may be that something has been broken in the plugin API in the latest version.
Can you let me know your routers2 version, and the version of your Perl CGI library? Make sure you dont have a very old CGI library, too.
