The not-matchstring otion can contain embedded spaces fine. Remember it is a single value, not a list like the IDs. It is also a regular expression (regexp) so can contain wildcards and special characters. This is a standard regexp, not a Perl regexp, so you cant use the \d or \s ops.
. : represents any character
* : zero or more of previous character
? : zero or one of previous character
+ : one or more of previous chracter
\ : next character is literal
[] : any of the characters between the brackets

I've had a nasty surprise this week, my wife is now seriously ill and I need to take time out to care for her and our 6wk-old baby. I can't get back to working on this as I expected - I was planning to investigate the problems with the eventID list parsing that seem to be occuring. Hopefully Ill be back in work in a few more weeks once her mother arrives to take care of her. Until then, family comes first - sorry if this delay is causing people problems.
