Hello,

Currently I am using PNSclient to look at our drives on our Windows 2000 servers. The problem that i am having is that I can only get two drives to work. I have multiple drives on a single server that I wish to monitor. The ones that work are C: and D:. I have E:-I: that I would like to monitor.

Thank you,

djdove

Which version of pnsclient are you using? Here, we use 2.0.1. There is a 1.8 which is not so good, plus there are the new NSclient++ and NC_Net both of which support the same commands plus more (but we dont use then because they need .NET or are much more bloated)

I am successfully monitoring many local and network drives via Pnsclient 2.0.1.

Steve,

I am currently running 2.01. I have it setup to goto the pnsclient.pl file with the diskspace -l C -l D

When I tried to extend this by adding -l E -l F, it did not work. My graphs would state that E would replace C and F would replace D.

Thanks

An MRTG target can only have 2 items, remember. If you want to have more than 2, you will need to make multiple targets and define a userdefined graph summary over them.

The mrtg-pnsclient only supports two logical drives because MRTG only supports two items in the RRD.

Steve,

Thank you, so does this mean that I will have to define another target that states the following

c:\mrtg\perl\bin\perl.exe c:\mrtg\mrtg-pnsclient.pl -H SERVIEW -v USEDDISKSPACE -l C -l D

New Target

c:\mrtg\perl\bin\perl.exe c:\mrtg\mrtg-pnsclient.pl -H SERVIEW -v USEDDISKSPACE -l E -l F

Plus make the changes where the C: D: are the E: and F:

Does this mean also that I need to install another version of PNS client on the server also...

thank youm this utility is awesome.
