Perl is version 5.8.8 CGI.pm is (I think) version 3.15- at least, that's what it says in the .pm file under $CGI::VERSION=. What is the proper syntax for running from the command line? just use the same string as in the browser, or do I need something different? Thanks.

Command line operation would be 'routers2.pl -I -D devicename -T targetname > file.png' where devicename is the rtr= parameter from the URL and targetname is the if= parameter. Depending on your CGI library, you can also just give a single argument which is the entire parameter string from the URL, although you may need to quote it.

It would appear that this is an perl_mod issue-if I run it through the web browser without using the perl module, or if I run it on the command line, it works. Of course, it takes longer not using the perl module, and if I ever manage to get it working chrooted, not using the perl module won't be an option.
